Use social platform accounts to gain Sybil points

In this challenge, you can increase your Sybil score by confirming that you control eligible accounts. The confirmation will occur via an OAuth log-in.

Importantly we will not store any sensitive information about your social accounts. Necessary information to ensure that accounts are used only once, will only be stored as a hash that includes a salt.

This being said, accounts from seven different social platforms can be eligible if they meet specific criteria regarding their age and activity. The list of accepted social platforms is: Stackexchange, Github, Twitter, Reddit. This list may be expanded with Facebook, Instagram, and WeChat in the future.

Controlling for age and activity (a) ensures that the social platforms themselves had sufficient opportunity to identify and remove suspicious accounts and (b) provides a reasonable certainty that the account is actually used and has not been set-up with malicious intent.

Please note that — to the extent possible — you should first complete Challenge VI to get full potential points in Challenge VII. The reason is that you may receive extra points for the Github and Twitter accounts if they match the previously provided information.Irrespectively, anyone with a valid account, as specified below, may participate in this challenge:

To get started, go to the game UI. Make sure to complete Challenge VI — if you are able to — before starting Challenge VII!

Subsequently, you may log-in via an account from any of the listed platforms.

That’s it. If you are successful, a green “Verified” will appear. You may have to reload the page.
